Default First off yesterday morning

I was put into the foursome that was first off the first tee in the Sunday
Longbow Men's Club tournament. (7:30AM shotgun) We did not rush even the
least bit and got around in 3:40. The group behind us came right in then
there was a 30 minute wait before the next groups began straggling in. The
final groups did not show up till almost 1-1/2 HOURS after we finished! (5
hour round!) This is a SHOTGUN where everyone should in theory be finishing
at the same time!

I can't understand why it takes so long to play golf. I really enjoyed
being able to play without waiting as I was able to get a rhythm going and
it seemed to be reflected in a decent score.

Oh yeah... drove the green on the "drivable par 4" 17th. 18' eagle putt
was dead center in the cup but left short by 2" (Alice!) Disappointing tap-
in bird. :-)
