Now that the dust is settling I see its "get Faldo" time again. The UK press
have been on his back from hour 1. Dont blame Nick, where was the lead from our experienced guys? Garcia, Harrington, Hansen. Stenson, Jimenez, Westwood just didnt turn up. It was left to the rookies McDowell and Rose and the much vilified Poulter to lead the way.

We were winning the session comfortably. Then on the back nine the standard of play dropped and we gave away the early advantage. |

Not good when on the first day Garcia, the talisman of the team, tells the captain he needs a rest! |
